OPTIONS

HOST FAMILY
Living in a warm and welcoming French home is an excellent way to experience France. Host families are carefully selected, regularly visited and located within Paris. A number of factors are taken into account, such as the cleanliness and comfort of the home; nature of meals (breakfast and evening meals are varied and balanced); family presence and their ability to welcome international guests.

Choose to stay in a double-shared room* (with another student) or your own single room. Daily contact with the family members will quickly enhance your understanding of local customs and culture and is an excellent way to learn and experience the French way of life! Any special requests such as allergies, special diets, preference for non-smoking household or no pets should be stated clearly in the Application Form and will be taken into account when placements are made. Arrival details are required at least 10 days before arrival so to ensure that your host family will be home upon your arrival.

Choose "Bed and Breakfast" (breakfast only) or "Half-Board" (breakfast and dinner) options.

RESIDENCE

Residences are located south or south-east of Paris at Porte d’Italie or Bois de Vincennes. Both are located approximately 30 minutes from the Academy via metro (subway). Meals are provided in the residence's restaurant. There are rooms with en-suite shower and toilet and single rooms with showers & toilets on each floor. Other services include a TV room, self-service laundry facilities and parking. As this is a popular option, students are advised to apply early.

Choose Bed and Breakfast (breakfast only) or Half Board (breakfast and dinner) options.

HOTEL

Participants may live in 2 or 3 star hotels near the school. Rooms are standard single rooms with a private bath or shower and equipped with modern facilities such as satellite TV and direct dial phone. Breakfast is included.

SUMMER CAMPUS (July and August only)

Each room has standard furniture and washbasins. Common showers and toilets are located on each floor. "Half-Board" (breakfast and dinner) is provided. As this is a popular option, students are advised to apply early. Additional nights are not available with this option.

SUMMER CAMP FOR TEENAGERS (July and August only)

There are two youth residences:
2 Star Youth Residence: Each room is comprised of 3 beds, a shower and washbasin. Toilets are located on each floor.
Standard Youth Residence: Each room comprises 3 beds, with common showers and toilets on each floor.

Rooms are double or triple shared. Each room is furnished with standard furniture. Sheets are provided and changed every week. Towels are not provided.

EXTRA NIGHTS ACCOMMODATION

Additional nights before or after the program duration are subject to availability. For Host Family option, a maximum of 3 additional nights is available. For 4 nights or longer, weekly rates will apply.

ARRIVAL & ACCESS TO ACCOMMODATION

In order to have access to your accommodation you will need to provide World Link Education with your arrival details such as day of arrival, time and place. This information is required at least 10 days prior to your arrival. For example, arrangements for keys to the studio or apartment are made in advance.
